As we continue to evolve and update to make Ordering Kiosk an even better experience for both you and your customers, we are pleased to announce our latest feature enhancement – Customer Order Name. This is an optional feature that you control turning on via Commandpoint. If enabled, instead of the sequential, auto-generated, order number, customers will be able to enter their name when placing an order. This name will print on your kitchen ticket printer or show on your KDS display in the same place an order number does today. It will also print in large font on the customer’s receipt.
You can easily change between using Order Number or Order Name under the Checkout Options section in Commandpoint.
